Top 10 PC Games

This list is going to cause controversy. Good. Putting together a top 10 list is a balancing act at the best of times, with everyone having an opinion on what didn't make it that should have, and what made it but didn't deserve to. But when you involve PC gamers? That’s when you get arguments that make Presidential debates look like mild differences of opinion.

With this in mind, we've put together a list that tries to balance first person shooters with real time strategy, new gaming launches with tried and true sequels to proven franchises and the already released with the highly anticipated. What made the cut? Read on...

Watch Dogs

It's hard to remember an original release in recent times that caused as much stir as Watch Dogs. The unveiling at the Ubisoft E3 conference was a show stopper, and sent the blogosphere into a meltdown of anticipation. The game blends stealth and action in an unlikely package, through the experience of Aiden Pearce who is a hacker comfortable with guns and street fighting who operates in an alternate reality Chicago. You can see what all the buzz was about in November 2012.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist

Moving from the new kid on the block to a veteran of the genre, Blacklist is the sequel to the most recent installment of Splinter Cell: Conviction. Sam Fisher returns as the leader of the newly formed Fourth Echleon who are faced with a new world order in which 12 devastating terrorist events are set to a countdown, which must be stopped. Thankfully fans can get hold of this one in a few short months, with Ubisoft announcing a late August worldwide release.
