10 Fun Things To Do At A Sleepover
Have a pizza and film night
Having a night of watching films and ordering a pizza is a pretty traditional sleepover activity. It's an oldie, but it's a goodie! Your favorite actor and a pepperoni feast never gets boring! One option is to pick a theme for the night, and you could have a different theme for each sleepover. These could be chick flicks, action films, scary films, animated films, or even all the films of one actor or actress. However, if you're struggling to decide on a theme, then ask everyone to bring a DVD along with them - either pick from that selection, or just get busy and watch them all!
I reckon kids nowadays think games are old-fashioned and boring, but there has been a real revival in vintage and retro things recently that games are a great idea for sleepovers! There is so much variety that you can make them as classic or as modern as you want to, and they're ideal for both boys and girls. Family board-type games such as Monopoly, Jenga and Twister are classics, which everyone can enjoy.
For older kids, why not get out a pack of cards and play poker, with candy instead of money? However, games don't always have to mean sitting around a table. Girls tend to enjoy talking games, such as 'Never Have I Ever' or 'Truth or Dare', which can lead on to a whole range of other activities. For those thoroughly 21st Century kids who really don't want to go near any of these types of games, I suppose you could throw video games into this category, too!
