10 Weird & Hilarious Celebrity Baby Names
Brainchild of: Sylvester Stallone and Sasha Czack
Don't worry, we haven't moved on from weird celebrity names to vampire names for the movie 'Twilight'. This name belongs to the eldest son of Sasha Czack and Sylvester Stallone. The second part of the name was inspired by Stallone's mega-hit film, First Blood.
Brainchild of: Moon Unit
While my first thought when hearing this name was, "What's a Lunar rover gotta do with anything?", this is actually the name Moon "Unit" Zappa bestowed upon herself at the tender age of twelve. Together with her siblings Diva "Muffin" Zappa (Frank: "She's audible at 300 yards."), Dweezil Zappa and Ahmet Zappa, this fabulous quartet must be the butt of many a party joke.
Brainchild of: Shannyn Sossamon
Audio Science Clayton is not a new branch of science. In fact, it's the name of the son of ultra-beautiful Hollywood actress (she starred in A Knight's Tale and 40 Days and 40 Nights) Shannyn Sossamon. When asked how they came up with the name, Shannyn mentioned reading through the dictionary 3 or 4 times with her boyfriend to see what looked interesting. Luckily for little Audio Science they must have not reached the letter Z, which could potentially have caused a lot more damage.
Brainchild of: Cynthia Loving
American singer/songwriter Cynthia Loving, better known as Lil Mo, had two daughters, and two brain farts. Together with husband Al Stone, they came up with the name Heaven Love'On for their eldest daughter and then, 3 years later, God'Iss Love for their second. Add the family name Stone to any of these names to arrive at a magic formula for incessant teasing and mockery at school. Parents: 1, Daughters: 0.
Brainchild of: Penn Fraser Jillette
The famous American juggler, writer and comedian Penn Fraser Jillette is also an illusionist. One of his most impressive illusions was that of making his daughter's self confidence dissipate into thin air by giving her one of the silliest names we've ever heard of. Penn came up with the name "Moxie", of which he's very proud, stating, "I love the name Moxie, I love that it's a purely American word, and those are rare, and I love that it stands for old fashioned spunk and energy."
His wife has the dubious honor of coming up with the middle name "CrimeFighter" as a sort of middle finger to middle names. Or maybe she thought her daughter would grow up to be a police officer or something.
