A minor cannot purchase the "morning after" pill without a prescription
Women aged 17 and older can go to their local pharmacy and ask the pharmacist for the "morning after" pill. If you live in Alaska, California, Hawaii, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Vermont or Washington state, it will be sold to you no matter how old you are. If you are under 17 and need the "morning after" pill, talk to your parents about it. They might get mad, but they will probably buy the pill for you.
If you take birth control pills, you will gain weight

Women have reported an average weight gain of about 11 pounds over three years. Keep in mind that every woman is different and there may be something else triggering the weight gain that has nothing to do with the pill.
