Born: Hong Kong, China

One of the most prolific Cantonese pop stars, Chan is the prominent male singer in Hong Kong’s music industry. He has made a habit over the last decade of dominating the awards shows, averaging 11 music awards per year from the various major awards shows. In 2013, he released his 42nd album, The Key, and continued to tour successfully. Chan has a background in film and television as well, appearing in dozens of films up through 2011, but has focused on touring in recent years.
