10 Famous Trios Throughout History
The Three Tenors
Comprised of Placido Domingo, José Carreras and Luciano Pavarotti, the Three Tenors were a talented opera trio of the 1970s and 80s, and, arguably the most famous opera singers in history. They held their debut concert in Rome, July 1990, to an astounding international viewership of over one billion. They found success after touring a number of big cities, and by 1994 they were already well known. Years later they would go on to release their own album, "Carreras, Domingo, Pavarotti: The Three Tenors in Concert", which sold upwards of 10 million copies, and placed them firmly at the top of the classical music scene.
Nicole, Erica and Jaclyn Dahm
Born on December 12, 1977, these sexy triplets were featured in the December 1998 issue of Playboy magazine, and are only the second set of triplets to appear in the US edition of Playboy. Later that year the trio also appeared in TV sitcom "Boy Meets World", and on reality show "Renovate My Family". Today the Dahm triplets have moved away from the lusty work of Playboy and are working on their own cooking website called "Triplets Gourmet". We're sure we haven't heard the last of them yet!
